The IDP is the main hub of the known universe, and connects the many starports from stars millions of light years away. Sadly, many of these stars are slowly being lost, and while the Interdimensional Star Preservation Society (IDSPS) is doing all we can to contribute to the Pursuit, progress is very slow. The IDP is the main starport of the universe. A starport is like an airport on Earth, except it allows travel between the entire universe via starboats. The IDP works like any Earth airport, although the security can be much stricter. However, if you have access to this page, that means you have been verified to access the IDP homepage, allowing you easier access to information on the rest of the universe. Earth citizens are also known to be safe, as there are no major terrorist organizations aiming to harm other stars which could endanger the Pursuit. Therefore, unless our security system has detected anything unusual in your system, you should be safe to go.
Now, what can you do here, in the IDP? Well, most likely you want to travel to another star. As long as there is no disturbance in the path you must take, you can usually simply buy a ticket and aboard your voyage. However, starports are generally closed to the public as of this time, due to the growing importance of the Pursuit. Only important individuals and citizens of planets actively participating in the Pursuit are allowed to use starboats right now. We apologize for this inconvenience, but because Earth is fairly late and has not agreed to take part in the Pursuit yet, we cannot allow citizens of your planet other than the very best to board any voyages. We kindly ask for your understanding. However, this website now serves as an easy way for people to access information on specific stars and places from the known universe. Your idea of the world at this moment is most likely very different from the idea shared by the majority of the universe. Those who are familiar with the Block Universe Theory and Einstein-Rosen Bridges will likely find this easy to understand.
